Obama’s Stimulus Package – $825 Billion of Pork or Progress?
From $650 million to repair Forest Service facilities, $200 million for repairs and updates to the National Mall in DC, and $87 Million to Family Planning services. The new $825 Billion Dollar Stimulus package presented last week is full of Government sponsored rebuilding projects! Some think this will work to create new jobs at the local level and stem the unemployment rate that is already nearing double-digits!
On the other side of the aisle, many of the opponents are calling this nothing more than a make-good liberal pork program!
